- 10 oz almond milk
- 1/2 banana
- 2 tablespoons almond butter (or peanut butter)
- Chocolate complete protein
- 1/2 cup ice
Blend this all in a blender and enjoy!
- If you are watching your carbs, you can omit the banana completely, or swap for avocado. Sounds gross, but you don’t taste it and it gives you the same consistency of the banana.
- Add spinach or some other greens for added fiber and veggies to your day. It’s an easy way to sneak it in.
I tend to have my daily smoothie for breakfast because it’s quick, easy and full of nutrition to start my day. But if that doesn’t work for you, you can have a smoothie any time of the day. Lunch, dinner, snack. Whatever works best for your lifestyle.
